Je pensais aux Royal Marines, aux enseignements sur les raids longues distances ( la mission depuis Albion des Vulcan)…ce genre de trucs quoi.

La guerre en Afghanistan commence à avoir des répercussions hors de propos pour le Royaume.
The Royal Air Force has officially taken delivery of the first two Chinook HC3 helicopters.
January 13: The Royal Air Force officially took delivery of the first two Chinook HC3 helicopters of eight modified ‘reverse engineered’ to a standard coherent with the rest of the fleet.
The Chinooks had originally been delivered in 2001 but software problems meant a certificate of airworthiness was never granted and the eight aircraft remained at Qinetiq’s facility at Boscombe Down in Wiltshire pending a decision to retrofit older equipment.
Welcoming the Mk3s, Defence Secretary Bob Ainsworth said “By the end of this year we expect to have all eight of these refitted aircraft in service, increasing our Chinook fleet to 46 aircraft.”
